perfume nips!!

So today i found this miniature perfume website, they sell miniature perfumes, vintage miniature perfume bottles and etc.. some of them look so pretty!! As i was looking through the products that they sell I saw something called perfume nips, and they look like this
MassNipPicMPS.jpeg

tiny little pin like glass tubes containing perfume thats just enough for one application! They were manufactured between 1921-70s and were most popular during the 40s and 50s. They were sold in packs of 4s or 6s, and they cost around a dollar each. The perfume companies in the States imported perfume from France and repackaged them into these so that they were more affordable and easily carried around in purses. It is said that since the perfume is sealed in these glass tubes, they are as fresh as they were when they were packaged! Does that mean they are still usable now?? I dont know, but with all the histories behind them, i would love to give them a try!!

NEW SKIN PRODUCTS

Since end of last year my skin has just been a pain, really!!!  i was using more foundation and blushes on my cheeks, it was fun and everything but one day i woke up and realized that my cheeks were getting more and more blemishes!! it got really dry and itchy and i started having redness too! it was absolutely horror :(( the worst thing is with all these complication with my skin i couldn't help but putting on more stuff to cover them up!! so the cycle continues.....

When i went to Laos, what help was that i couldn't care what i looked like there, so i had a "no makeup" 10 days and this helped my skin to recover a lot! After i got back to Singapore i decided to look after my skin a little more so i went and got the "Centella recovery skin salve" from Kiehl's!!

Here are the description from their website:

•Clinically demonstrated to soothe and condition sensitive and temporarily irritated skin.

•Helps temporarily soothe irritated skin after at-home microdermabrasion treatments.

•An effective moisturizer for dehydrated, sensitive skin.

and you know what? does exactly that! the day after i used it my skin already looked fresher and the redness and itchiness around my cheek went away, what i love most about this product is that you only need a tiny bit of it and it just glids on your skin like velvet! smooth and absolutely pleasant! and its scent free, alcohol free its has zero irritations! great for all skin type, a really good moisturizer !! LOVE THIS BABY!!

The other product that I'v fallen in love with is the " Kiehl's Midnight recovery serum". This was a complete pleasant surprise, when i bought the "Centella recovery skin salve", the counter lady gave me one of these as gift (how i love the way they try to promote stuff) Got home and gave it a try and BAM! Work like magic!!

The next morning, i was amazed by how much better my skin was looking already! I noticed that my skin looked a lot fresher, they were healthier looking and were all pumped up!! This product has a lovely lavender scent, all you need to do is have 2 or 3 drops of this in your palm, warm them up by rubbing your palms together and then lightly pat/press this on to your skin. Its a oil based serum but dont worry, it doesn't feel heavy on your skin at all!! this is defiantly something i would stick to as my go to skin care product!
